If you're looking for a proper off-grid escape in the Karoo - no cell signal, no crowds, just campfires and stars then this one's worth the drive. The setup here is simple. 8000 hectares. You pitch where you want. Evenings are the real thing though. Fire going. Karoo sunset doing its thing. And the stars are amazing, no light pollution out here. None. You forget skies can look like that. Note: there isn't always water in the river, depends on the time of year.
