Removed the rear side panel and boot trim to make space for a portable battery system.

I decided to go with the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max 2kw.

Paired with the Ecoflow 1000w Alternator Charger.

Setup allows for alternator charge to the battery unit via the charger. The charger can also receive a charge from the 210w RTT solar panel.

Purchased and installed the 2.6m Alucab Shadow Awning LHS.

Repositioned the Maxtrax underneath the Gen3R tent near the front of the tent as my vehicles roof naturally dips towards the windscreen making space for two 4x4 Direct slim load bars. Again the guys at Roofpod sorted me out with brackets and a great undergoing installation.

The Guys at Roofpod installed an aluminium camping table that slides in under the Gen3R RTT. Super neat and one of my favourite additions.

I can highly recommend these and enjoy the wrap around version, keeping dirt out of the vehicle and tent.

Fitted my Thule Roof Box onto the Gen3R top rails for December Holidays by fixing two Front Runner load bars onto the rails.

I wouldn’t recommend, saw a significant decrease in fuel efficiency but the kids got to take everything on holiday!

Fitted the Melvill & Moon tyre cover after I was advised the spare is prone to sun damage.

After a puncture that proved the rubber had deteriorated on the old set I bit the bullet and replaced all 5 tyres with the Goodyear Wranglers that were originally on the vehicle when I bought it. Supplied and fitted by Tyremart.

Installed a 4x4 Direct 210 watt solar panel for the Ecoflow setup to run the Engel fridge. Simply done with a fe mounting brackets and the supplied rails on top of the Gen3R RTT.

Reattached the Maxtrax this time using old tent brackets to the side rails of the RTT.

I upgraded the Eeziawn RTT for the Gen3R. It’s amazing.

I had this broken panel replaced with a mould made in the same shape, seems to be holding up nicely.

Added a second RTT specifically for a trip where more sleeping room was needed for the whole family. The vehicle handled this fine but I wouldn’t recommend it as a permanent setup. The rear suspension was definitely sagging.

Using the front runner track brackets I mounted the Maxtrax to the side of the vehicle.

I fitted a second set of front runner loads bars for a water tank and two Wolf boxes.

My mom actually made these for me with some left over fabric from the seat covers after I sound proofed the transmission system with some HD foam.

Installed the Eezi awn RTT on Frontrunner load bars.

Took it for a drive to Cape Point.
