Mana Pools

Hi Acacia-Anne, we were there last year and yes the campsites are very expensive. Nyamepi (the communal campsite) was the cheapest at $100/campsite. The thing is the charge per campsite, not per person (although you still pay a conservation fee per person). But for the campsite itself the more people you are the cheaper it is. If you get one of the private campsites those can cost $200/night. Nyamepi was beautiful though, if you go I'd recommend getting one of the riverfront campsites. It is expensive but Mana is stunning, quite a unique landscape.
