The Platform Is Growing (Because of You)
New builds. New campsites. And the marketplace is filling up fast.

A few weeks in and the platform keeps surprising us.
More builds getting added. More listings going live. More campsites being submitted by people who've actually been there.
This is exactly what we hoped for - a resource built by the community, for the community. Not curated by us sitting behind a screen, but by people who've actually slept in the mud, wired up their own 12V, and know which campsite gate opens with a different key on Sundays.
We're watching the platform take shape in real time. And it's proper.
One thing we want to keep doing: being straight with you about where we're at, what's working, and what's next. No fluff. Just honest updates from two founders who spend way too much time thinking about drawer systems.
🔧 Featured build: Wally the Landy
Marcello and Nicole are converting their Defender into a weekend camper and, with a baby on the way, designing the whole layout around keeping two rear seats so their little girl can come along.
Burnco pop-top, aux fuel tank, Front Runner roof rails, and a Marshall speaker - because sometimes practical is the right call.
By their own admission: "half the time we had no idea what we were doing." That's exactly why this build belongs here.
🌍 Campsite spotlight: Monk's Cowl, Drakensberg, KZN
Sandwiched between Champagne Castle and Cathkin Peak, Monk's Cowl is the gateway to some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the country.
Panoramic views of the Berg from your campsite. And the bit that matters for those of us with a 4x4: head away from the powered sites and you'll find fewer people and better views. Worth knowing.
The kind of spot that works whether you're doing a long weekend or using it as a basecamp for something bigger.
🛒 Rooftop tents: what's listed right now
Whether you're upgrading, downsizing, or finally making the jump off the ground, the OVRLNDR marketplace has rooftop tents listed by real people in the community - from entry-level soft shells to hardshell setups from the likes of Alu-Cab, iKamper, Front Runner, and QuickPitch.
Good gear. Real prices. No middlemen.
Thanks for being part of this.
See you out there,
Chris & Craig
