Alu-Cab it is...

SO many options for canopies and camper conversions. Settles on the Alu-Cap Modcap Canopy Camper. Seems we are #2 out the factory. Main decision was the fact that its a trap door entry rooftop which is permanently attached to the Canopy with rear door entry into canopy. Means we don't get wet getting in!
The bin is a blank canvas to build the interior. Talking to The Camp Company in the Cape about design options. Sadly it seems KZN is devoid of anyone who can do the internals.

OME BP51 Suspension
Warn Winch
RoadRage Rims (1.4T Load capacity)
Long Range Tank
Rock Sliders
Cattle Rails and Canopy - will sell those
Seat Covers
Sound System
Sound proofing

There's just no other vehicle like a Land Cruiser, especially the 70 series models! By the way, how are those OME BP51's?

Hey Craig. BP51s are great. no complaints. I will say the other option was the Tough dogs which would have been kinder to the budget but i am happy at this stage other than needing to upgrade leaf springs and our dearest Sklipad is a little overweight... along with her drinking problem. I wouldnt change it for the world. Love every moment offroad.

Spoken like a true VDJ V8 owner. Chuffed to hear you're happy Daryl, wishing you many happy miles in the big 79.
