Wild Camp spot situated just 10km outside Cradock, tucked away in a remote and incredibly beautiful corner of a farm. While it offers the feeling of a true escape into nature, it’s not completely off-grid roughing it, there are a few thoughtful comforts to make your stay enjoyable. The camp includes a hot shower with a traditional donkey boiler, a flush toilet, and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a small wood stove, sink, and seating area. There is a camping fridge / freezer that can be used. A paved space is provided for tent setup, and there’s also a cosy room with a queen bed for those who prefer a bit more comfort. There is a rustic fireplace inside. There is no electricity, but soft solar lighting adds just enough glow in the evenings. The boma, slightly sunken and sheltered, is beautifully lit with solar lights, creating a warm, inviting space to gather around the fire. It’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and fall asleep to the distant calls of jackals and baboons.
