About this campsite

Every stand has its own private ablution. Shower, toilet, basin, and a dedicated washing-up area, all yours rather than shared with the rest of the camp. That is rare at this kind of price point and it changes the feel of a stay, particularly if you are travelling with family. The stands are large, spaced for privacy, and take a ground tent, a caravan or an off-road trailer without fuss. Maximum eight people per site. Hot water comes off a donkey boiler at your own ablution, and firewood is provided. Light it when you want it. Power is 220V on normal plugs, so no blue adaptor needed, which is one less thing to dig out of the drawer system. The Orange River is right there. Fishing, sitting, or just watching it go past. This works as a base for Augrabies Falls, and it works as a stop on a run north towards Namibia or Botswana.
