Komdomo - Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve

About this campsite

Komdomo sits on the banks of the Groot River, inside the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve in the Eastern Cape. The reserve carries UNESCO World Heritage status, so this is properly protected ground, not a farm with a river running past it. There are 27 sites, all with power, ablutions and hot water. River frontage, a real ablution block and a plug at the stand is a solid combination for a site inside a reserve. It means you can set up once and use Komdomo as a base rather than a single night on the way through.
