Moon River is a hidden gem that not many people know about. Situated in the southern realm of the Cederberg mountain range, Moon River requires a 4x4 or 2x4 with diff-lock and decent ground clearance to access. The Sugarbush campsite is one of two on the property and offers a rustic ablution block, a simple wash-up area and a rudimentary braai setup. The magic of Moon River lies in the rugged surroundings, the nearby rock-pools and the sound of bubbling brook that runs past the campsite.
