Wolvekraal Campsite

About this campsite

Wolvekraal sits on a 4,000 hectare working sheep farm about 10 km outside Prince Albert, with the Swartberg mountains filling the view. It is a small campsite, set up for one group or a couple of vehicles rather than a crowd. No power. Bring your own everything, including lighting and a way to charge. Ablutions are a toilet and a shower. There is an indoor braai area, which is worth knowing about in a part of the country where the wind can decide how your evening goes. The splash pool runs from mid-September to the end of April. Outside those months it is empty, so if you are coming through in winter, plan on the mountains rather than the water.
