Travelling through Eastern Cape

I'm planning on travelling solo (1 vehicle) from the Cape Town anlong the Garden route, through East-Londen, Morgansbay, Kei Mounth on towards Coffee bay and then visit the Hole in the Wall and other sites in that area.

From their heading in land towards Howick, Bergville and onto Clarens.

How safe is the Eastern Cape for solo travel?
